A Cancer Journey

The past two months have been a whirlwind of doctors' appointments, hospitalization, surgery, recovery. I was diagnosed with cancer, grade 1 and grade 3 clear-cell carcinoma.

After major surgery, no grade 3 cancer was found in the final post-surgical pathology report.
No further treatment (i.e. chemotherapy or radiation) needed.
Just 6-8 weeks of recovery time at home.
I am a cancer survivor!

Psalm 116:7-8
Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
And my feet from falling.

My Life Just Ended

Whoops, never mind, it's back up.  That was the scariest two minutes of my life!

When President Clinton was elected (a rapist, an abuser of multiple women, and was impeached for lying under oath), and two terms of President Obama (who was virtually ineffective except when it came to running our economy into the ground) we conservatives did not riot in the street, bang on the White House doors, interrupt congressional hearings, dis our liberal friends, or vandalize houses and businesses. We continued to work hard, pay our taxes to fund welfare and benefits for illegal aliens, and waited patiently until we had the chance to vote into the presidency someone who shares our conservative values.

It’s a shame the Left refuses to offer us the same courtesy.

Any Ravelrians Out There?

I've been a member of Ravelry, an online forum of knitters and crocheters.  It's a great way to keep track of your projects, yarn stash, and pattern books.  I use it mostly for noting the yarn and hook size for various projects, and add photos.

Apparently, if I include my blog address in my profile, the various posts show up there, too!  Anyway, I just noticed that, after being on Ravelry for the last 7 years!  So come and be my Ravelry friend!  My nick is Calif-Sharon.  See you online!
